MakRecover

Overview

MakRecover is a system designed to assist users in recovering their lost ID cards. When registering, users upload their facial image along with additional details. In the event of an uploaded ID match, the system notifies the user, enabling them to locate their lost ID card. Originally developed for Makerere University students, the system has been updated to support any form of ID. Leveraging advanced facial recognition features, it accurately identifies the user associated with the found ID and promptly notifies them.

How It Works

User Registration: Users upload their facial image and provide necessary details during the registration process.

ID Recovery Notification: If a user's ID is uploaded into the system as found, MakRecover sends a notification to the user, informing them of the recovery.

Locate Your ID: Empowered with the knowledge of their ID's location, users can promptly retrieve their lost ID card.

Applicability

Initially developed for Makerere University students, MakRecover has evolved to support any form of ID, making it a versatile solution for users across different contexts.
